The CONGLOMERATE OPERATIONS are 16 videos made by Daniel Hüttler for CONGLOMERATE!, an interactive exhibition of an artistic research project on the Aderklaaer Conglomerate, a geological formation under the territory hosting the capital of Austria. The research consisted of interviews with geologists, musical theorists, artists, fresh water ecologists and psychologists on the topic of the Hydrothermal exploitation of the past. These interviews and an intense literature review were condensed into 16 chapters of a written paper.

Each of the chapters dealt with a specific aspect of this underground body from distinct relevant standpoints such as the geological, economical, social, colonial, futurological, hungarofuturist ones amongst others.

All 16 chapters were translated into short videos and accompanied by music from a jam session with James Habo and Martin Eichler in the framework of CONGLOMERATE VENTURES, a small research venture/workshop get-away organised by Daniel Hüttler with Carmen Lael Hines, Camille Belmin and Dunia Sahir in Trautmannsdorf an der Leitha.
