The Atlas of Unearthing is a collaborative work of art containing more than 150 original artworks initiated by Daniel Hütter and Eva Slába together with over 50 artists from the painting departments at the Univeristy of Applied Arts in Vienna and the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague. It was first presented in the summer of 2022 at the Czech Center in Vienna for the exhibition Days of Unearthing. There it was brought up from the underground by a technical lift to the main exhibition space and was permanently exhibited in the space. On specific days, the audience could access the cellar in the frame of guided tours by the curators or artists, there they could find printed scans of some of the Atlas’s pages.
